Enabling Developer Console in CS2

To make the most out of CS2 we need to enable the developer console in game and learn about some basic commands.

Enabling Developer Console in CS2

The CS2 developer console is a user interface feature that enables you to modify various aspects of the game. Through the console, you can perform actions ranging from adjusting your crosshair to configuring a server.

The CS2 console is disabled by default so we will have to manually enable it from the settings menu.

2. 2. Then click on the ‘Game’ tab."
3. 3. Change the 'Enable Developer Console’ option to ‘Yes and close the menu."

How to open the console in CS2?

By default, you can open the console by pressing the '~' key, situated above the 'Tab' key. To assign a different key, navigate to the game settings, select the 'Keyboard and Mouse' tab, and find the 'Open/close console' option.
